Ouch

This was …not a pleasant read for me.

Not sure how to argue back without playing into the “See, Cardinals fans are humorless trolls” narrative that’s driving me away from Gawker.

  1. It’s kind of funny to me that a pair of Gawker writers – who wouldn’t know the proper form of a homonym to use if their lives depended on it – would have the audacity to mock anything written by someone else.

    1. The Hill was called Dago Hill for a reason. It’s all Italians, but St Louisians were super-ashamed of havin’ dem damn’d wops until they discovered how delicious the food was. Now it’s The Hill and has signs and shit. I will say, there are some outstanding restaurants there. There’s also a market that I go to to get these pickled cherry peppers stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella when I’m through there. The Wiki article they’re looking at is fucking embarrassing though.
